LIMP MODE HELP PLEASE!!!
Okay my car is going right into limp mode on the ECU when I start it up. I got the how to on checking OBD-1 codes but I am having extreme difficulty locating that grey plug with two wires running to it. Could somebody give an idea of where it's at. I have the three clips full of wires running out the side of the ECU and then I have two green clips on the side of the kick panel underneath the glove box that are connected to a black box, but nowhere is the lil grey plug. Please help I need to diagnose my problem.

yeah, you're in the right area. there should be 2 different clips not connected to anything. One is 3 wires, and the other is 2 wires. Don't worry about what color the plug is, it should be the only 2 wire connector not hooked up to anything.

Okay I found it then but when i stick in the paper clip into both ends nothing happens when I turn the keys to the on position. WHich end of the plug should I put the paper clip into?? Where the wires go into the clip or the other end of the clip??

it doesn't matter as long as you complete the circuit. I put a switch on mine to make it easy (i've thrown quite a few cels on my car).

Yeah see I've putten the clip in both ends at different times and turned the keys to the on position and nothing happens. I'll have to post up a pic in the morning to make sure I'm using the right plug.
