what do i have to do to my y8 to rev it to 9k? i know the rpm governor will have to be removed. Valve job, springs maybe.

 

You have to put an S2000 motor in your car. Your car won't make power to 9K, no use, but to answer you're question, you'd need aftermarket cams that make power to 9K along with valvetrain, a chipped ECU and preferably stronger rods, rod bolts and higher compression pistons to accomodate the cams.
