Default b18a1 max rpm

I have a chipped pr4 ecu that has a 9500 rpm limit. my b18a1 has crower dual valve springs and t-retainers, ferera valves, and stock rods with arp bolts. whats the max rpm b18a1 rods can handle with arp bolts?

If I had that setup, I wouldn't take it over 7500-7800 rpms depending on your powerband.

As far as the rev limit goes, you will get a lot of different opinions. From personal expierence, 8500 is good if you have ARP rod bolts, Tri-metal rodbearings and a VTEC oil pump.

I'd go to 9000 with a balanced rotating assembly.

But, like mmuller said, It would be useless to rev high if you're not making power there.

Because of the rocker design they often have problems over 8500 rpm.
