90 integra is throwing Code #8 tdc position
I recently swapped out my engine and transmission in my 90 integra LS. I took everything off the old engine and transmission including the Intake manifold, alternator, distributor, wiring harness and sensors. And used them on the new setup.
The problem I have is that now my Tachometer is not working and my car is throwing Code #8. TDC position. It is a little hard to start but seems to run fine once it is running.
I don't believe that my timing is off. Because the car runs to good. And the proper marks line up.
So what could be my problem? Any Ideas will be greatly appreciated.

wires on the 8 pin connector to the distributor. the stacked pairs should have between 250 and 700 ohms of resistance and should not have continuity to ground. not sure of colors for tdc sensor but i think they're the pair next to the orange and white wires (for cyp sensor) the 3rd pair is ckp (crankshaft position).
Hope that helps

thank you so much. I checked around the distributor and found one pin had fallen out of the 8 wire plug. And another wire on the two wire plug had been spliced in to. I'm guessing for an aftermarket tach. I repaired the fallen pin and fixed the broken wire. My car is running great now. Thank You!!!
