Default 5-pin and 6-pin

H-T, im going to start my Integra Dash conversion in my EK, and I ran into a problem. My civic (97 DX), the dash harness for the cars rear defroster switch has a 5-pin harness, while the Integra Dash switch and harness uses a 6-pin harness.

What are some ways I can get around this problem?

Is it possible just to the use the 6-pin wire with my civic harness? Will the circuits be affected at all? Like short circuiting or something? I dont know to much electrical parts of the car, so any help would be great. Thanks
