OK i have a 96 EK, i put a 97 GSR motor swap in and used a 00 Si engine harness. After i installed the motor, the car wouldnt start and my friend told me because i have a 99-00 dash in the car. We didnt know which Dash Harness the previous owner used so we went and switched everything to a 00 DX Automatic DASH harness. Well now Vtec doesnt Open because there telling me the harness is still reading the car is in PARK. Does anyone know what wires do i have to cross or what can i do to have Vtec work???

i think you need to get a new ecu, because if you didnt replace it already, the EK ecu doesnt have vtec.

why didnt you use an ex harness? Woulda saved you a lot of trouble

What ECU are you using?

IM Using a 99 Si computer, and the dash harness was free and i didnt think i would have a problem!
