Default 1.8 Crank on a 1.6 block..Question

Will a gsr1.8 crank fit on a 1.6 si block. If so will this be beneficial???

yes, but you will need custom rods and pistons to make it work. Beneficial? Yes and No.
Yeah, more torque but crappy R/S ratio, and cost a lot. If you want to go 1.8L, swap the block with it.

IMO, this would be a terrible engine. You would have something like a 1:1 rod:stroke ratio. Plus custom rods would probably cost a lot.

You can get a B17 crank with the stock b17 rods and it works.. B17 is basically a b16 with a b17 crank. just like a B16B and B18C
