junk the b18 idea. for the ultimate power that will defeat anything on the street including the fastest of the production superbikes (ask harry @ drt in queens NY, his 592 whp h22 street civ was..interesting) get a h22, build it (sleeved, biggest bore possible) w/ je pistons and crower rods, full head package, run hondata stage 4 or pectell or motec ($) with t3/t04e (or bigger) equivelent w/ ballbearing center (quick spool up and lots of power at low boost <15psi). get z-10 radius arms, dif. rate springs for your gc's and custom fitment wheels (8"+? wide) with so3 pole positions. get a lower final drive from whoever (like 3.72) and cryo everything in the tranny, get a quaife, CM stage 5 and driveshaftshop axles or something similar (youll DEF need them!). you will be able to outrun ANYTHING anywhere. 160++mph on the freeway (scarrrrrrrrry but possible) and 10's in the 1/4 even with that gearing AND BIG SLICKS. outrun gsxr 750, zx12, rc51, 929rr, all those bikes. outrun hayabusa from 80 mph on...

why not buy a 91 NSX and have
VTEC for real...

and a car that is stable in all
scenarios... not to mention
it can be modified... 30K
an NSX can be had!

A full spoon engine, and a tranny that will handle it. Suspension, I would go with a company called Tein, or Tien. Brakes: Bear or Brembo. I would leave the exterior factory and have a small sticker that says, "Got Spoon?", that's it. A sleeper. Sound MB Quart. I have a family, so I would put a DVD player and 2 monitors.
Just a suggestion.
i hope you're kidding

30,000 wow!! thats like an 11 second turbo car easily...

im too tired to think and i dont feel like trying to put together a fantasy car right now.....

good luck man

Can you really get a skyline for 30k though? Doubtful.

If you were to get something else i would go supra no doubt, hands down. I dont know where you guys live but i see wrx's EVERYWHERE. so i wouldnt get one.

But if you were going to do this, turbo is the route i would go. Talk to Jinxproof on this board, he has a very powerful turbo b18c1, i beleive. Either way i would talk to him if you want to spend that cash.

Plus, what are your plans for this car? Seems like you are going the fast street car/show car route. Anything else?

Another thing, dont go nutz with a body kit. Something simple is more than i would ever do. Personally, i say dump the body kit idea and get a nice paint job and some big wheel s for show, THATS IT.

And, you can get a skyline for 30k, probably an R32.

I love all these ideas and i'm starting to do my homework now on it. My plans on this car are to 1. make it fast do some racing, two make it look good and then after a year or two when i'm finish just retire it to the tracks. How much does it cost to import an evo v these days? i really like those cars to thanks for all your input!

**** a WRX or a Honda...not to be a critic since I do own a honda. I can get you in touch with someone that is importing the Evo VII's over here. Pick up the new DuPont registry. They were under Editors Choice in May (the one with the new Viper on the front) and they are in there again. Go to this website
The guy who owns it is my best friends brother.
