ball joint is bad....new upp control arm needed?!?!?!

ball joint is bad....new upp control arm needed?!?!?!
Can I fix the ball joint without having to replace the whole upper control arm. It looks like a bear to do the whole thing. The guy at the shop told me that new ball joints only come with the whole arm assembly.

you can also get spc adjutable ball joints to go in place of the stock ones and you don have to buy new UCA. but you have to get the right on it you want to keep your camber the same(the ones that adjust 1.5+/-)
