Upper control arm ball joint replacement
I have a 96 Accord that needs a new upper control arm ball joint. Can I just replace the ball joint or do I have to replace the whole control arm w/ball joint assembly? I called a local Honda dealer and was told that the ball joints are not sold separately. I'd have to buy a new control arm. Is this true? It doesn't sound right. I'd appreciate any pertenant info you guys could provide. Thanks in advance.
Well, I've always heard the same thing - you have to buy the upper control arms. I guess maybe I was hoping someone knew about a new way to get just the ball joints?

If they do not show it, you probably cannot buy the ball joint seperately.

your 2 options are:
either buy new arms from the dealer
or, buy a camber kit that will replace the upper balljoints or the whole assembly if you're planning on dropping your car in the future.
