Ref ticket for motor swap question
so on top of other citation i got sent to the state referee for having a jdm b16 swap in my eg. The citation says its uncorrectable and my ticket came out to 400 bucks. Now if i swap a sohc in and take it to state ref and it passes do i still have to pay the damn 400 dollars or does the fine reduce. If i still have to pay the 400 i rather not fix it and pay the 400 anyways. Another question if i dont fix it will my fine go up and i wont be able to drive the car ne more? Ive gotten ref tickets b4 but never for a motor swap. Help me out if u delt with the same problem thanks

Re: Ref ticket for motor swap question (GAME OVER 2007)
Ok from my understanding I believe the "uncorrectable" would mean that it can't be signed off like an exhaust, window tint, and license plate ticket. Most likely your going to have to smog the car either with the b16 or a SOHC. And i highly doubt that the money will be waved (at least i'm not that lucky). Kinda looks like your in for a lot of work.
