What is another name for the injectors b/c my repair manual doesn't have anything in the index as injectors??

Would the injectors be the cause for my engine having a rattle somewhere around the exhaust manifold? I have been told it is, so what do ya fellas think? Can you help me? Gracias!

Sounds like someone is blowing smoke up your pipes to pad a repair bill.

A rattle around the exhaust manifold is probably a loose heat shield or downpipe hanger bracket or some **** at least close to the EM.

 

Tell that mechanic to go **** off. Its probably some lose bolts. Injectors arent even located close to the exhaust manfild or have any direct physical communication.

I phrased my question wrong. I have been told the rattle could be something to do w/the exhaust manifold or the injectors. However, when I try to locate the rattle it's around the Intake manifold on distributor side. What could it be?

Phrased the question wrong. Rattle is around intake manifold, distributor side. Other people have said rattle could have something to do with exhaust manifold.
