Max ignition timing off a stock H22 @ WOT @ 7500rpms?
Does anyone know the max ignitiong timing (in degrees) off a stock H22 @ WOT @ 7500rpms?
For those off you with standalone ECUs and are running NA, what is your max timing at?
Thanks.

Fly1865, what's your timing @ WOT @ 7500 rpms though? At idle, mine is at 16 but I'm running 26 degrees at 7500.
Eddiebx can you be more specific?
I'm running mine at 26 now and there's a huge diff I'm sure going from 26 to 30 as I felt a huge diff from 22 to 26.
I know a knock sensor is the only way but was just wondering what everyone else is running. Someone told me a P13 stock ECU has max timing at 30.5 degrees... I'd just like to confirm that at least this way, I know I can at least go 29 without blowing up (running 94 octane).

Come on ppl... nobody here has a standalone?
I'll include one free coffee for the answer... you have to come to Canada for it though.

i've got mine set very conservatively at 28* at WOT at 7500. I'm gonna bump it up to 31 as soon as i get ahold of a laptop.
what is urs set at idol though? im talking 700 rpms im at 20 degrees timing, is this 2 much for a stock jdm h22a?? why do u need a laptop to change ur ignition timing???? just use a timing light
