Sounds like you wired it up wrong, samething happened to me a while back. Check your wiring again. You most likely got the colors mixed up.
well i thought that i had wired it up wrong but i have re checked it twice now and i am confident that its ok.
the apexi website said i should look out for open connections so i went to the trouble to heat shrink all the connections as well so there isnt even a open wire.
but what do you mean by run the cel with one of those jumper wires??!? and is there anyway to get the ecu out of protection mode and would a wrong connection only put it into protection or could there be other ways.
thanks for taking the time to write back though because i have had this problem for a little bit and its really starting to get to me..

ok recheck the wiring diagram and make sure for a few of the wires... YOU CUT THEM and prevent them from goin to the ecu at all... ( it hin its the Blue VTM wire or something)
also, Check to make sure for i think 3 of the wires... U have to CUT the wire,, then hook up 1 wire to it.. and another wire to the OTHER half of it....
Not just tap into the connection like you have to do with the power/ground
thats what i did wrong
