Default which gauges?

im turboing my car but wondered what gauges i should use. i currently have defi oil pres, boost, and egt. but from what i read egt' readings are pretty inaccurate and is dependent on where its mounted. so would running boost and a wideband be a better idea?

While it would be ideal to have both EGT and Wideband, i would take the wideband over the EGT anyday.

I'm going with Oil pressure, boost, and wideband
and a EGT if money allows

Well defi only offers an A/F gauge in the d gauge version. Wideband is more important than EGT though

You can't go wrong with a wideband

I got the PLX M300, and it has an output if you want to have a defi (or any other brand) A/F gauge so it reads wideband, when you buy this converter, but i just have the digital display, with black defi d boost, oil p, oil t, and egt

I also have a PLX wideband. Are you sure you can use their wideband converter with DEFI's A/F gauge. I've seen it on PLX's website but only for Autometer gauges. If it worked with DEFI's A/F gauge that would be sweet.

Thx

PLX M-300 can be found at http://www.streetrays.com

That's where I got mine and shipping was pretty fast.

Well autometer makes a votage converter, and it should work with any brand of air/fuel gauge, not just autometer.
