best way to control VTEC

best way to control VTEC

should i use a pm6 (or maybe pg7) and a vafc or other vtec controller, or convert to obd1 and get the p28 ecu? i think they will both cost about the same, give or take a little.

Convert to the p28. The vtec controller will switch the cam over but it won't change the ignition and fuel maps like the ecu will.

Forgive the noob, but what is a z6 mini me? I asume that you will do a p28 with hondata?

going to put the z6 head on my d15b2 block, and i don tknow if ill use a p28, thats what i asked

well if you use the p28 you have to convert to obd1...but if you dont wanna do that get a zdyne ecu which will alow you to stay non obd and i think its the best for the money.
