Default stupid question about a P06

i have a chipped p06 ecu that i used for my turbo sedan, and i'm trying to sell it since the new car already has a chipped ecu. i know that the ecu came in a non vtec car, but can it be chipped for vtec as it sits, or be converted to a p28? i tuned my own car, but i have never messed with vtec, but the person that wants to buy it has a y8, and wants to know if he can use the p06. thank you in advance.

The obd1 p06 (dx ecu) can be converted to a p28 which is simple, and yes it works great and is powering my buddies high comp. ls/vtec running stock itr map. Motor pulls hard. I believe it can be used on the y8 since the p06 board is the same as the p28 minus vtec.
