Default is it time for rings???

did a compression test today with these results:
cyl 1= 155
cyl 2= 165
cyl 3= 160
cyl 4= 165

what motor? the #'s are at least very close to each other, that's not a bad sign

my motor: 225, 225, 120, 230 doing a swap tomorrow

did you hold down the accelerator while turning the engine? Did you let it crank through 5+ revolutions?

it's a b18a, after pulling the plug crank car holding down clutch and accerator

thats wierd. usually rings dont go out at the same time. i think u may have bent valves

What compression ratio are you running? Those #'s dont look that bad.

check for oil in your charge pipe, and what are you using for crank case ventalation?

improper cam timing could cause poor compression across all cylinders.
check your tbelt.

cam timing is at 0 intake 0 exhaust ignition is fully retarded (sounds funny)!

valveseals. Replace them.

I bet you your car smokes some during startup after sitting all night then after a few it pretty much goes away?
