compression
ok the last time i did a compression test the numbers where between 120 and110 across now there between 110 and 90 .is it time for new rings?

That is super low it was time for new rings along time ago. I would say under 150-170 its time for new rings. and re-build.

isnt 185 the norm for a d16z6?? but anyways the guy that got 110 or 90...maybe you did the compression test wrong. you have to hold it at WOT and crank for five seconds. my motor has 260,xxx and the lowest i got was 140

ok i did it at WOT and the numbers came out between 200 and 210 all arround but i saw in my number three cylinder that there was oil on my spark plug. is this normal?

if you are finding the oil on the threads or in that area i would bet your oil on plug issue is the pedistal (sp?) gasket. have them replaced. should be good to go
