at 1st thats what i was thinking,
but i don't drive HWY that much, and these motors are rev happy anyways.. so cruzzin' at 5K RPM isnt that big a deal..
gas is a bitch though...
catch osama!

You must have the USDM Y1, which I believe is from 93 LS. He has the JDM Y1, which revs at around 5K at 80 mph. I have the JDM J1 from the Xsi and I rev at 4400K at 75 mph.

No such thing.
No such thing.
I have done this. Its incredibly easy, since 5th gear is on the end of the gearshafts.
The only thing special you need is a 32mm socket, which you probably already have
if you have changed axles before.

Sorry guy Y-1 are Jap spec unless you mean YS-1. My JDM YS-1 with Type R 4.78 final drive runs at 4800 at 80mph.

Okay lets get some info straight here. USDM Y1 DOES NOT Exist. So NO you did not own a teg with a USDM Y1..
As far as MPH and RPM check here http://crx.honda-perf.org/math/index.html
The accuracy seems to be out, because i run on 14" tires, and at 60mph im just below 4k. This says 3535rpm. So maybe my tach is off 300rpm? Wouldnt doubt it.
