Getting started on my colleges formula SAE car in coming weeks, looks like I'll be doing a lot of the fuel injection tuning, and motor work, WOOT! Anybody here worked with motec much? I can't wait to get started last years car was turbo charged, but they blew 2 turbos so they are still concidering doing it again, hopefully I can talk them into it Sounds like the turbos blew due to a shitty oil restrictor setup. (two way valve without lock)

Anybody else hear going to be working on a Formula SAE car?

We supply alot of formula SAE teams with componenets that they need

 

Well sounds like we will be needing a lot of stuff this year, including pretty much all our safety equipment, new harness, fire suit, gloves, shoes.... So if anyone has something for cheap please let me know All safety equipment must be new enough to pass tech inspection

 

That sucks I just sold nomex sparcos a couple months ago, are you on the NIU team, I was going to head up to the meeting yesterday but I figure I already build turbocharged go-carts (CRXs) out of my garage.

 

Yes, NIU team, you go to NIU? I'd love to compare turbo rex's sometime (mine is 3rd gen) lol
