Default Does an upgraded igntion system need new plugs?

I'm getting a Jacobs' i.C.E. pak ignition system on my car in about a week, I'm wondering if I should change the plugs for better performance? If so, what kind of plugs?

you sir
have just flushed your money down the drain
If you could cancel that order
and get something else

an aftermarket ignition system isn't needed

not neccesarily a waste he might want to run nitrous so an aftermarket ignition that enables u to retard your timing as well as a rev limiter( msd digital 6) would be beneficial

Have it, But its not installed, waiting to finish Tuning then see if it helps throttle response and hp. Also I have a High compression 12.3:1 and very agressive cams Spec C's
Its quite different from an aftermarket system like Jacobs or MSD though The HKS utilizes the stock Coil, and acts as a Capacitive Discharge unit, again Im only going to use it because of my mods.

For a stock to medium Modded ITR I would just suggest New Plug Wires, Maybe the NGK Power Cables and keep the plugs changed about every 25,000 miles

Are the NGK Power Cables making that much of a difference? They're quite expensive ~$200 whereas other performance wires (msd/magnecor) are 1/2 that price.

What would u recommend for a medium modded GSR TypeRmsm? I have Iceman/Gredy SP and MSD 6A w/ MSD wires.

If you want every single horsepower out of your engine, then the Power Cable is worth it. But if you are talking about $/hps, then it is NOT.
