ok..

My idle was @about 900rpm (w/minor fluctuations)

MAP was ~-580 mm/HG (w/minor fluctuations)

Car was cold and just started. After it warms idle drops to around 800rpm.

...hope I did that right

car is a 97 R w/13k. All stock except for JDM DC, 2.5" exhaust/cat.

I'm in UT incase elevation somehow effects that figure If you need anything else lemme know

BLAH, nevermind the figures below are for fuel pressure

possibly.. I was looking for a spec reading in the helms.. no dice.

EDIT I'm kinda new to this concept soo.

MAP= manifold absolute pressure right??

In the helms it does state the following. It's in fuel and emissions sec 11, in the Type R supplement. But right now I'm thinking this isnt the MAP, correct?

just in case, here's the specs

Pressure w/regulator vacuum hose disconnected

kPa (kgf/cm`2, psi)
320-370 (3.3-3.8, 47-54)

soo

kPa (kilo pascals') can range from 320-370
kgf/cm`2 can range from 3.3-3.8
psi can range from 47-54

I'm assuming elevation can't effect that figure because the environment is basically sealed, right?

well, my cams could play a huge role in this....the problem is me mostly, cause i can't figure out if I used to see lower readings or not....

i'm prolly stressing over nothing and it's as it always was, and I'm positive I don't have any vacuum leaks.

Ok, found some old datalogging graphs, my idle vacuum used to be -10.4 psi which is about 540 mm HG, but the cam gears were tuned back then...

*scratches head some more*

C's should run around .3-.2

my little oem's run at .5 all day.

hrm.. I wonder if I let the car warm if the values would change.

I'm a definite n00b hear, but if cams could effect this value, cam gears could as well... no?

yes, cam timing will play a role. So I could, technically, be stressing over nothing (and prolly am)....but better safe than sorry.
