V-tec problem in 1st gear

Default V-tec problem in 1st gear

I have a 2000 honda prelude sh. In first gear at about 5500 rpm's it starts to stutter.. i run premium gas in it.. .. when it starts to stutter.. it will go into vtec and feel like it goes back out? any help here ?PLEASE!!!

have you checked your oil? any CELs?

your oil level is very low...i guarantee it...PUT OIL IN YOUR CAR !

WHAT OIL SHOULD I USE? SYNTHETIC OIL?

You probably had regular oil in there before, so use that. If you want to switch to synthetic use a synthetic blend ( half reg/half syn) on your next oil change. Then use full synthetic the next time you change it.

Ok. I went and craked the lude. Let it run for about 2-3 min. Turned the motor off. Checked the oil.. I had plenty. Stuck the stick back in. Waited 5 seconds.. Pulled it out.. I had none? Whats that mean?

trust me your oil is low...fill it up. i reccomend taking a different car to go to get because if you run your car with oil that is so low you will do damage to your internals.

yea, Im going to go get it changed tomorrow. I just found it odd that I had PLENTY on the stick as soon as i turned the car off. Then 5 sec later.. I had none? Kinda odd. Thanks so much for your help though man. i really appreciate it
