I didn't know Del Sol's w/ GSR's in em' were that slow.(not clowning, just refering to what the others posted about the high 14's) I never really payed attention but, I thought that that setup should be good for a low 14 sec. pass?
Your 60' is what is killing you though.
Do you have whell hop problems as well or just wheel spin?

Re: (hondaguyef)
yeah my wheels hop. my friend said since my car is so low it leaves very little room for suspension travel which is why they wheels hop so bad off the line. could that be it? i'm runnin tokico illuminas btw.

I'm really not to sure about the ride height idea of your friends but, It sounds logical. We run a CRX (stock height, OE shocks and 1k lb. neuspeed springs out back) and it does not wheel hop at all! SOHC BTW! it runs consitent 14.80's which isn't bad for a 250k mi d16a6!

15.2 @ 91.. wow seems really slow.
i recently swapped a jdm b18c gsr into my hatch and its feels faster than my friends h22a civic coupe with ran 13.9 @ 97. im sure u can run a 14 in ur del
try to improve ur 60fts.. dont launch so high and try not to slip the clutch. if you have to, feather the throttle. then go wide open when u feel like the tires are starting to grip.

Re: went to the track last night (AzntaggeR)
try this next time you go to the track...
* Azenis at 15psi before burnoff (Do a fairly large burnoff in the water box until they're smokin). Then after that run and every run there after re-check your tires and keep the tire pressure at 17psi
* If you have coilovers, Spin them up to their highest setting... (harden your shocks if you have adjustables)
* You can lower the front if you choose (soften the shocks if you have adj.)
Try launching around 5500-6000 or so and feather out the clutch...
17psi is truely the sweet spot with the azenis tires... big water box burnoff the first pass, then go AROUND the water box afterwards and just do a quick chirpy style burnoff each run after your first just to clear the unneeded pebbles, etc..
Let us all know what you run this next event after you follow these guidelines

That would be pointless. Burnouts on street tires do nothing but heat up your tires.

the AZENIS is not the Average street tire. the compond is a bit softer altho its not a Drag Radial or Slick. i would suggest a slight burnout.
it heats up the tire making it a bit softer and it gets the gravel/dirt off the tires.

Your a ****** dork too then...obviously you have no experiance with the Azenis.. burning off some factory michilens would be pointless... Azenis though become very sticky tires once they get heated up... racing on "cold" azenis tires would be pointless jackass...
to those that sit behind a screen all day and pretend that they know everything.
