car stalls when letting off the accelerator
My 1993 Accord EX dies often when coming to a stop or when letting off
the gas to come to a stop... At times... the needle on the tach will drop down
and then bounce up and recover, other times the car just dies... most times it
can be restarted immediately... I've even had it happen while travelling at
45 mph ...! (I had depressed the clutch and when I let it out it started again
just like if you were to push start and pop the clutch! )
I have replaced the ICM in the last 15 months.. The main relay has never
been replaced! I replaced the plugs recently and gapped them to .41 .. Can
someone give me the *exact* spec for the plug gap?? The car has 178K miles.
IIRC, I used Bosch platinum 4 plugs... is there a better plug?
This problem does not occur when the car is just started, but does occur
after the idle has settled in at lower than the 1K or so level it is when you start the
car.... THe car idles at approx 600 rpm, but at times it seems out of sync as it hunts
for a smooth idle but ramps up and down.. is there a way to adjust the idle?
Help.... I've nearly perfected my left foot braking technigue! (using left foot
on the clutch and brakes and right foot on the accelerator to keep the revs up
when coming to a stop)

First thing take those POS bosch plugs out and put NGK plugs back in. Best plug for your car, and cheap too. You may want to check your IAC valve to see if its going out. It can cause these problems.
