Default Speedometer problems

I already searched and didn't find my problem listed so here goes. On my wife's 96 Accord, the speedometer seems to stick when flipping over at 100 mile intervals. I don't mean that the speed part of the speedometer sticks, just the odometer / tripmeter sticks. I can hit it a few times while going down the road and it will work until the next 100 mile interval. Can gears be bought for this or what can I do to resolve it ?

Thanks again guys,

Frank

Default Re: Speedometer problems (fcarruth)

about the only thing you can do is take the speedo cluster apart and clean it. theres probably alot of built up dirt back there. Just use some thing small like a q-tip and alcohal to clean it.
