i did something stupid
ok, so i was unscrewing the manifold bolts to take the cover out and i broke two upper bolts. when i was unscrewing them some how they didn't want to come out, instead of just screwing them back in, i use a lot of force and i broke them. now the cover is out but i don't want to see it like that. any way i can extract those bolts out or do i have to buy another manifold?
I am having a hard time understanding what you are saying. Are you referring to your valve cover, if not what manifold were you trying to remove. As far as your broken bolts, you can buy some extractor tools which are relatively cheap. Then youll need to drill into your broken bolt, and use your extractor tool to remove it.

Yeah and you are the epitome of intelligence. I would say go buy and extractor and get them out then put some new bolts in. Simple as that.

is he talking about the heat shield thinger than goes over the exhaust manifold? if he is i think it should go back... he might not remember the little picture and burn his hand.
