HELP!!!Headlights wont work!!
ok i took out the dash to paint it black and i put it back in and when i did the headlights wont work the cluster lights dont work and the dome ligh dosent work....any1 have a clue if a i just forgot a plug or screwed something up thanks.
Fuse? Is it just the lights that aren't working? Everything else will work (radio, ignition, etc.). I'm guessing lights. Did you ground that ground that is right behind the Gauge Cluster?
well it sounds like a simple boo boo since the dim light is connected to the headlights could be a fuse blown or ground, trouble shoot it dome light is different source that goes with radio dim light and cigarette lighter different fuse then headlights i think.
ok i checked the ground its on there and good i forgot to add earlier when i turno the switch for the headlights and then turn them back off the fasten seatbelt light blinks on the cluster....im really confused on this.

yes its a 89 and yes the dimmer switch is plugged in its gotta be something tied into everything cause headlights dont work either or parking lights or cluster lights..
OOPS THAT WAS THE WRONG LINK, this is the right one:

when you pulled you dash out did you disconnect the wiring from the dash or disconnet it from where the fuse is (near there)?? If that makes sense. Also when you disconnected the cluster on the lower right when you looking at the back of the cluster, there would be a clip that goes in there but its actually multiple clips did you take these out? (I hope you didn't)

I'm still going with that your ground is not right. Double check make sure that it is correctly connected and make sure the surface area of it is metal to metal contact.
