Electrical Issues !
Hey guys here is the scoop. My headlights don't work, my insturment panel lights don't work including the climate control area. The stereo and clock do work. The 5 gauges I have, have no lighting? WTF ! My daytime running lights and my interior door light are the only ones that work. I checked the fuse panel, I'm pretty sure I checked the right fuses. None of them where damaged? WTF ! I'm hoping someone out there can shine some light on this situation. Haha, I made a funny!
Thanks guys

I had the same issue when I got my car out of the body shop. I had to drive with my high beams on and nothing else...not even turn signals. Turned out a bulb was shattered and the element inside grounded against metal and blew the turn signal fuse and the headlamp fuses. If all your fuses are ok, then I dont know what to say....because then you'd get power to your main lighting sources if they were ok.
The car is a 95 Teg LS. The needles do work, the turn signals work too? This is really wierd. The highbeams will come on too? Hopefully someone out there can help me out.
Thanks guys

When I had the same problem, My needles worked, my highbeams worked, but the turn signals were shot. The brake lamp only illuminated when I hit the brake.
Think back at the last things you did to your car before all this happened. Or did this happen out of nowhere while driving one day? Or do you do your own work on your car? Info like this will help us determine what possibilities there are.

It just happened out of nowhere. My turn signals do work, brake only illuminate, under braking. The needles on the gauges and cluster work, and highbeams. Its weird cause the only thing thats illuminated on the dash is the ABS light. I've had that light on for sometime now. I can also see the light indicator, the one that tells you to turn on your lights (blue light). The clock on the dash works too! WTF! I hope thats enough info for the "Doctors" out there.
I'm sure its not that. The guages have been in the car for 2 years now. This is really pissing me off. So again, i've checked every fuse under the dash that is related to the situation. I'm not a 100% if there is anything under the hood that could clear this problem up.
When I say it just happened it, just happened in the middle of my ride. It was at night when they just, bloop! Gonzo! no lights on the dash. Makes me think that its something wierd. When I turn the ignition on before turning it over, all the little lights come up on the intsrument panel (handbrake,ABS,Battery) all like normal. Its just when I switch on the lights for night driving, there is no lights on the dash or climate control area. I hope someone can give me some info on this. I dont want to pay $$$$ to get it checked out to find out its something stupid that I could of done myself. I know there are lots of very smart Honda-Tech's out there. Please lend me a hand of your wise knowledge.
Thanks.

You checked the underhood fuse box right?

i had this problem and i kept blowing the fuse to my insturment panel runing lights etc. every time i would replace the fuse and turn in my lights the fuse would blow. it eneded uo being tha i had a ground wire on the back of my stero touching metal. check your grounds.
I checked all, I mean all the fuses under the dash. None where blown, which fuse do I check under the hood? My concern is, why do the little lights like, ABS,Battery,Oil light up but no speedo or tach? Or the gauges, why would it happen out of no where?

There should be a fuse map or sticker to tell you which is which, or just look through all of them for a blown one.

Sounds like its wires that are grounding out somewhere... happened with my gauges a while back. check ALL of the wires behind your dash, including stereo, gauges, TT, etc.. even though that stuff might have been installed properly a connector could have come loose over time causing a short.
Thanks guys, I guess I will be spending the weekend going over all the wiring. Its just seems really wierd. There is so much wiring, its going to take some time to get to the bottom of this. I do appreciate all the feedback. Thanks guys.
