Increasing Displacment
i am about to rebuild my 94 ls engine because it has 120k miles on it. I am puting higher compression pistons, titanium vavles and valve springs. I am planing on resleeving it instead of boaring it out. Is it possible to put a bigger sleeve in the block instead of boaring out the new one? If so what size? and what sized pistons? im not new to the whole integra thing. True i am olny 17 but i know alot about tegs. I am new to the whole engine rebuild so if you could put your comments in Laymans terms that would help out.
soo im gueessng your doing an allmotor LS engine
get it resleeved with aftermarket sleeves like golden eagle or bensons get it resleeved to 84.5mm and use 84mm (crv).
if your going bore out ur sleeves now...u shouldn't go more then .5mm cause it'll
mess up the structural integrity (strength) of the sleeves
rods theres only one choice EAGLE - cost and strength two good words in rebuild
i dont' know how u can afford rebuild at age 17
im 19 and still can't afford anything close to what ur going to invest.

instead u want to look into a VTEC head soo it'll help with your high compression bottom end your building...

i think the olnly way i can offord it is because im only 17!!! i dont have to pay for college, i have like almost no bills except a Phone bill, and i have like 1k saved now and im lookin to save another 1k by the spring. i dont have the money to do an ls/vtec engine so should i just redo the springs and valves??? i dont want to rebuild some of it and have another part break, u know?
