i took the (black)stripes off of my (white) 89 crx when i first bought it..i used a hairdryer to heat them up a bit and..some hot soapy water to also kinda loosen the stripes..i started at the front and..i do seem to remember having to CAREFULLY use a razor blade or ex-acto knife to get the stripe pulled up a bit to get them started on coming off...you have to go EXTREMELY SLOW because the striipe keeps breaking..or..wanting to snap anyways..it just takes patience to get them completly off..after they are off..it helps to use some goo-gone or similar stuff to try to remove the residue..dont know what color your car is but..i still have a bit of a "ghost" image left behind..it is an 89 though so..those stripes have left their mark for good!!GOOD LUCK..hope that helps a bit(just go slow and..when you first get started..make sure its not pulling up the clear coat with it..you should be fine)

Hair dryer and your fingernail, then wax etc.

Hell I even used a little Goo Gone, it didn't hurt the paint. Although don't take my word for it!
