how do i tighten...i tightened the tensioner all the way and on the longside (front) of the belt it seems to be a little loose
If you have a helms manual it should tell you the proper way to tension the belt. I believe that it is 3 cam teeth of a turn, or something like that, of the crank. Then tighten the tensioner.... Good luck

well i won't have the engine in until it is finished, and i wanted to make sure that everything was good to go before i dropped it in...would be a pain to do timing belt work with it in
with your fingures on the actual belt . between the cam sprocket and the crank pulley(front). if you can rotate the belt more than 90 degrees then its to loose.
