Double stacking head gaskets
doesn't Cometic make o.063" thick head gaskets
I would rather trust a head gasket designed to be that thick over two regular ead gaskets stacked.
not to mention that it would probably be cheaper to purchase the Cometic that it would be for two OEM headgaskets or aftermarket

Yep, I'm opposed to stacking 2... especially with boost.
Just asking before I try contacting cometic again this afternoon. It's always good to have all the area's covered in advance. Thanks daniel.

Toda also offers thicker-than-stock gaskets to lower compression, but if the build is extreme, you'd obviously be better off lowering the compression via pistons.

It works, alot of cars up here do it sucessfully, i had it on an old setup. Just drill out the rivits and re rivit the 2 headgaskets together. Make sure to use copper spray and tq the headstuds an extra 5lbs.

Well I remember the only difference in the H22 and H23 head gaskets was the fact that one of them had two open passages that the other one didn't have. It seems to me like it was the H22 that had the two closed passages...........
If you can get ahold of one of each, you'll see what I'm talking about. You may be able to just drill out the holes in an aftermarket headgasket to make it work.
Just a thought...
