Default do i need to replace my engine block?

my knocking problem has gotten worst and my car stalls out every time i take the car out of gear. the car wont make it up hills and i think the rods are blown so waht can i do

I'm not really sure what steps you've taken to diagnose the actual problem. I would suggest checking all your plugs, and wires. If they all look good I would have a compression test/leakdown test performed.
