will old gsr motor hold up on boost
i just purchased a 96 gsr with 140k on speedo the car supposedly is own owner and has mobil one since he bought it all records of everything the supposedly has been babied all its life i say that to say this is it a good idea to turbo a gsr whith that many miles i was going to get it tuned and eveything
If compression and leakdown numbers look good, go for it. My brother boosted his 94 LS with 180 thousand on the clock, drove it boosted for another 25K boosted without issue. When we tore it down it still had good compression and oil pressure, but we threw some new pistons and rods in it along with a VTEC head, I think the chassis has in the neighbourhood of 235 thousand miles on it now. These are very, very stout motors, as long as you take good care of them they'll last a long time.
i think maybe you might should use some punctuation you will get your point accross faster and easier it will be nicer for people to read i say that to say this your motor will be fine
