you guys see that banner on top of honda-tech? anyways, anyone have experience with them? the reason im asking is cause i ordered a GSR motor from a shop in Lousiana called Capital Imports from the owner named Dave like 3 month ago. i got a email from him couple days ago saying that he didnt have any motors, so he gonna send the money back to me!! after 3 ******* month, he tells me that!!

It is a reliable source. I just received my complete H22 swap from them on Monday. Here are some pics of the motor before and after shipping:

hey, how long did it take for them to ship it to your house once they got the money?

 

I sent the money on september 6. The following week was the 9/11 situation so that stopped everything for few weeks. The motor left new zealand on 10/7 and it arrived in my city on 11/14.

It will come from New Zealand by ship to Los Angles.

It will leave Los Angles To your city by Rail.

Once it is close to your city, you can pick it up at the train depot or they may ship it closer to you by truck to a cargo carrier. Then you have to go pick it up. My total customs, documentation, & shipping fees once it came into USA was about $225. So what ever your swap price is ad about $225 to it and that will get it to your door.

They really do a good job of sending a complete swap. If you look at some other folders at my yahoo album site. You will see a honda accord folder. Check out the swap pictures from there. My friend brought a prelude type s motor from them and he currently has it in his 90 accord coupe. It is clean and running fine. that is what convinced me to purchase from these guys. I know of atleast 1/2 dozen people that have received their engines from these guys and they are all happy with it.

I don't think they have any gsr's right now, but lots of b16s and even an h22, They'll even deliver to your doorstep if you want them too. Prices are good.
