osaka
I ordered a b16a2 from osaka 2 days ago without doing much research on them, i was so excited about ordering a new swap and just took my friends word for it that it was the place to order a swap, but yesterday i searched for peoples experience with osaka on here and all i found were horror stories, and something about a manager thats now fired and how that shouldve fixed the problems they were having with their company or whatever. I guess im tryin to say that im very excited because i have a b16 on the way, but im scared that somethin is gonna be terribly wrong, can anyone give me any reassurance, or some kind of rundown as to whats goin on with osaka? thanks in advance

Keep us posted on your engine. I think many people on here are wondering about Osaka, as there reputation is still up in the air so to speak. Maybe you should get compression tested, etc. before you pop it in the car as well.
I expect an update from you in a week or less mister!

Hey my friend just recieved his jdm b18c5 from them with no problems at all. They had a probalem for a while with people claiming to be "osaka" and taking orders and recieveing payment but not sending motors, check their website for details. Make sure you called the same number that is on the site.

Re: osaka (slowdx)
It always seems that the Type R swaps run smooth but everything else is sketchy. I was so set on ordering from them, but now am going to save up some money and just make me a B20/Vtec. I hope yours comes out well man.

Why the hell would they want an SSN! Strange!?
Either way, they are more then happy to help any problems, they let one person go who caused a lot of problems. They have a new, more educated person to pick out j-spec motors... You should be fine, they give warrenty and all. Maybe the SSN is for that warrenty, hmm. Keep us posted!!!
