Default Check Engine Light(knocksensor) comes on after i hit 45mph

The code is flashing the knock sensor code. I wired it straight from the ecu to the knock sensor using a little speaker connector to attach it to the knock sensor's pin. The check engine light doesn't come on after i reset the ecu, but the moment i hit 45mph it comes on and stays for good. What you guys think could be wrong?

If its the style i use to wire the knock sensor causing the prob...anyone selling a plug for a knock sensor?

It would help if I knew what chassis/engine combination you're running, even if its a stocker. Also, that connector more than likely isnt doing its job. Try soldering it maybe...

You should Probably try and find the right connector ...Junk yard maybe..
But you really should have a shielded cable going from the knock sensor to the ecu.
You can get the stuff pretty cheap at any hardware or radio shack style store.
