will a greedy turbo kit set at 7 psi yeild the same amount of power output as a drag III kit set a 7psi. And how much boost could you get out of a greddy kit. Thanks for the help!

 

The DragIII comes with a front mount intercooler. I don't think the Greddy kit does. The FMIC should make a difference.

 

also the drag has a larger turbo, GReddy also doesnt come with a BOV

 

the greddy and drag kits have different power curves. greddy has more midrange, drag more top end. i like the greddy fuel managemnt solution better becasue they use larger injectors and a piggyback computer as opposed to a RRR or other such fuel pressure raising devices. you can do a search on this topic, it has been discussed extensively already.

 

ya i been lookin around at a whole bunch of old post to get more info. but couldnt find an exact answer to the question about 7psi drag vs 7psi greddy.

Setup idedentically, the DRAG will yeild a higher top end, the GReddy will have a flatter power curve. Ultimatley though, the DRAG will probably out gain the GReddy, especially as the psi's go up..

 

i think the drag would be higher hp, but remeber that its not all about #'s. its about what you want to do with it...and how much of that hp is usable. like the vortech civic at 272 hp....at the redline! almoset useless!!!
