I would personally go for the greddy. Although im sure more people here would say drag. But here is why i would pick the greddy over the drag.

1. My car is used for a street car, the greddy turbo will spool much faster and will be alot quicker around town. (the greddy turbo is sized very nice for the engine)
2. The greddy has a better fuel system. I dont like the FMU systems at all.
3. The greddy kit has a better fit and finish
4. The greddy is a true bolt on kit and its carb legal!

Drag by far is much better. If you get the greddy and then sit in another car with a drag or revhard kit you will kick yourself in the a$$ and wish you didnt purchase the greddy kit. Greddy kit is good and all if you want a fast spooling turbo but it doesn't pull as hard as a bigger turbo such as a t3/t4oe. IMO a t3/t4 is much better. And the blue box from greddy sucks!

ima still say drag....if u want speed...as far as fmu is concerned....i dont like greddy blue box.....hondata is better.....spool time...u can get a .48 a/r and that'll spool up quik, but u lose top end.....if u want the best spool up, then go with a ball-bearing, but thats 2 much damned money....i've got a ballbearing t3/t4, but im still waiting on hondata...but im pretty sure a .48a/r will have a faster spool than a greddy....oh well....im not tryina clown on greddy turbos, but if u wanna go fast, go drag....o well ill find out wen i throw mine in regardless....u'll be faster than u are now....just ask yourself...go fast and "play safe" or go faster and drive cautiously and avoid attracktng unwanted attention....

maybe the driver was WEAK. i smoked every car i raced with a Greddy kit. even a the same year and model integ as mines... all three times. 5lbs was all it took. hes supposedly one of the fastest guys in his crew. he knows how to drive too... clean takeoffs and i heard him chirp in 3rd gear.

blah...i dont believe that. Lemme pass this by you.

Now, lets think drag turbo on a sohc civic and greddy turbo on a sohc civic. Both at 10psi..both have a hondata. rolling start in 1st gear. The greddy turbo is going to get the lead..its spooled faster...the drag is slowing getting spooled..but the greddy car is already a car or two infront...the drag turbo car is having trouble catching up. Oh the drag car is starting to catch...Awww ur at the next signal...greddy civic won!

Now on the drag strip it might be different..but around town...the greddy is going to be the nicer setup. And i tell ya what i drive on the street 99.9% of the time. Its an easy choice for me.

How many people really do like 5mph rolling starts? On the streets and on the track people always launch. For speed the drag schools the greddy.

Man, just get the DRAG 3, you can order it with whatever trim turbo you want, so if you want quick spool up just order it with a smaller turbo... if you want big hp numbers order it with a bigger trim turbo. You can't do that with the Greddy... you're stuck with the mitsu turbo it comes with. Not to mention the DRAG 3 comes with an external wastegate and a bigger downpipe. The greddy dp is really tiny and prob gives up some power and response... but the real clincher is that the 500 clams you save going with DRAG 3 can go towards standalone... now that would be the ****...

hmmmm would you like to place a bet on it? i raced a LS with a Greddy kit last week and his 1/2 car lead off the line wasnt **** once i hit 3rd gear, in which i was already almost a full car ahead. ive raced GSXs with those turbos and believe me... after 3rd gear theres no way they are going to catch up. at the top of 2nd gear, im already head to head.

why don't you ask him your self.
i know he has a 12 sec. type R all motor and yeah that's before his little hondata stuff, but yeah he did drove a drag equiped prelude owned by a friend of ours and yes my 87 integra equiped with a greddy kit just wasted him like a little corvette.
so drag -greddy it doesn't matter realy. it's all about who's in the front.

you know what? even though i don't have a turbo, but i have been reading for a long long time. i'll name some pros and cons for you.
Greddy is good for fast spooling, but is still not legal in CA, if you have IC or BOV, the turbo kit must stay as it came from greddy to be legal. People say the blue box that comes with the kit sucks, causes fuel problem or somthing like that
Drag kit is bomb *** with some upgrades, don't know what they are cause i wasn't looking itno it.
Overall, if you want to stay STREET LEGAL in CA, you must get the basic greddy kit, if you going to get the IC and the BOV, go get the drag kit and do some reading to find out what makes them the best.
