Should i pay For A Greddy or Drag kit for my 99 ls.. =??
I am deciding between a Drag and a Greddy kit. I have enough money for either or.. what is the better deal in your opinion?
i am looking for low boost 6-7 psi. Daily street driven.
what is more reliable? the drag fuel management or the greddy fuel managment?

if drag still offers an fmu then forget it and get the greddy, it comes with emanage.

The Drag kit has more lag than the greddy kit. I don't see big power gains till at least 4500 rpm and up on a GSR motor with a drag kit. Given your rev limit at 6000 or so rpm, i'm not sure that is worth it.
The greddy kit should get you going much lower in the rpm band to suit your needs.

forget the greddy kit, go with revhard they offer an sc series turbo compared to the piece of **** greddy turbo, and a tial wg, and i rather run an fmu over the emanage and your setup will last alot longer too.

the greddy kit = 2500.00 including the blue box and injectors, no intercooler. no bov, i may add that later on, when i get more $$..
the drag = 2600.00 including a intank fuel pump and fmu, intercooler, blitz bov..
I just need safe street power, not looking to drag or autocross etc..
I just want a simple setup, i want to minimize headaches.
I am leaning toward the DRAG kit, becuase it comes with everthing right off the bat, but i am not sure how safe the FMU and Walbro 255 fuel pump, are for supplying fuel to my stock motor.. with 80K..

Re: (fake mugen power)
I got the greddy kit on my LS right now and im running 11psi, boost is instant but i wanted more so im moving up to a EL manifold and a sc34 soon. I would go with either the drag or rev kit or look into kit like peak boost or full race, i dont think the drag kit come with injector? so you would need to get injecter then hondata or whatever and tuned it right, sticking with the fmu is trouble...

Greddy good for street use
but yea if you're looking for more power, drag, revhard, etc. then go for those but should build your motor for those kind of kits cuz those kind of kits are supposed to make more power.

Re: (redzcstandardhatch)
i'd get a revhard kit over a drag kit. hit up tom at camp1320. always got em in stock . revhards a better design and higher quality than drag IMO

Looks like everone is reccomending for the revhard kit, but
i will go with greddy kit becuase of the injectors and blue box for street power. add a intercooler and bov, in the next few months.
