Default Just got my Turbo LS somewhat tunned tonight...well, kinda...

well for many of you who don't know, i dropped my car off yesterday night at elite-autosports in minneapolis, mn for a dyno tune appointment i had made for today. i had installed a 3bar map, 1008cc injectors, wideband, and EMS and just left it there for them to get it up and running and tune to 350whp on pump gas.

anyway to make my story short, we got the car up and running within 30 min. after that we only had 4 runs to tune my car cause my laptop battery died right after that. to our surprise(charlie moua, redlinetuning, and the people at elite) i was able to get a surprising 299.9whp w/10psi!!. my wtq was pretty low sitting at 234.7 but damn, what more can you ask for from 10 psi!! i would of made more but my motor was running HOT as hell since we didn't even stop the car from running since my tires rolled up on those rollers, and my sparkplugs were FOULED!! i mean pitch BLACK!! that and my fuel map was all over the place and rich as hell! well, enough on my story...here are the maps that make you go WHOA!! is it V-Tec y0?!? ummm NO, it's an LS!!

turbo setup:
turbonetics t3to4e .63/.60 57trim, drag mani(yeah i know...but i had to sell my equal length mani for $$$), precision 750hp fmic, msd 3bar map, msd 1008cc injectors, blitz ss bov, tial wg, custom IC piping (2"-> 2.25"-> fmic-> 2.5"), custom 2.5"->3" dp, custom oil cooler, TR&D 3" turbo exhaust, 3" test pipe, AEM EMS 30-1000 w/wideband.

lol, i wanted to jimmy, but my laptop died/ran out of batteries cause i left my car over there over night and we left the laptop on we needed to do a whole lot more tunning cause idle really sucked and the fuel mapping kinda sucked. but since we saw that we were only had about 5 min worth of battery time left we hurried it up and did what we could. my boost setting wasn't touched as i was boosting 10 psi before the tune. i'm hoping that with the addition of my ported and polished head along with crower cams, i'll be able to hit close to 350whp on pump gas running 10 psi. we'll see though, cause if i can't, then i'll just turn up the boost

i was just messing around. i know vtec motors make mad power everyone at the shop was in awe as well cause the curve looked almost like a vtec curve which was pretty strange compared to my older ls turbo setup which looked totally different.

Yeah, you should be able to hit 300+ at 10psi, hope to see you out sometime.

nope, nothing done to the head. the only addition was the skunk2 manifold. i'm wondering if that's what's helping it?? i was just as surprised to see how flat the powerband was as most of you.
