Default 99-00 EK Turbo owners.....

Im gonna be installing some OEM fog lights into my '00 Si. I've heard from a few people that they have run into problems with the fog light brackets not fitting because of the I/C piping and they have had to make adjustments.

does anyone have any info on this? Pictures would be HUGE here.......

I think i saw a threat about running IC piping with 99-00 fogs. I think i saw a thread about it with pics on another forum. I have the 99-00 fogs and i wont be taking them off so hopefully i can have some pics when i do my piping.

It CAN be done... You have to cut the lower bracket off of the fog. And its going to be a tight fit.

its pretty obvious when you try to put the bumper on with the fogs... The fogs have 4 screws that hold them to the bumper... 1 top, 1 left, 1 right, 1 bottom... cut off the bracket that goes to the bottom screw.

Dude, just flip your intercooler upside down (suggestion only if you have a big intercooler). Here you go. Hope this helps.

Yeah but you cant do that with a/c cause with the A/C radiator and fan in there there is no space to pass the piping so you have to go again the fog lights route.

like i said to him... cut the lower bracket off, and the rest is self explanitory.

No pics needed... just go look at the bumper and the i/c piping, and you will be like "ooooh.. I see says the blind man to his deaf wife as they walk past the fish market"

either you have a small IC or you have your IC mounted way behind your bumper support. I went with the "pusher" syle fan set-up and my IC piping (2.5") is practicaly hitting where my lights would go...I just don't this scenario happening for me? I'll try and get some pics tonight.

I have my stock A/C and fans...........Running a Drag kit with a spearco core that is SLIGHTLY larger than the ones that come with the drag kits.

Just as Scrapin' said..........cut the lower bracket and you mount the housing with 3 screws instead of 4. ill try and get some pics taken, i gotta adjust them this weekend so i gotta rip into the whole thing again, ill take pics then.
