heres the dilema. im turning over to the darkside, but when i looked at the space behind my front bumper, the oem foglight housings are in the way of the intercooler piping. i want to keep my fogs because i like the way they look, but if it comes down to it, i guess i could get rid of em. anyone here on this board have a turbo 99-00 civic w/ oem fogs? pics would be nice.

I had the same problem with my GReddy Kit. You have to dremel the long Black Stems.. Ill try and get a pic, but I don't want to take off my bumper ..

 

i need some input on this too, c'mon guys i know ive seen them before.. its possible, i just need to know how you guys managed it

Okay .. the IC piping hit that long skinny part of the fog light housing.

This is where they used to extend

 

i just did it last night on my 00 Si

u need to cut that bottom bracket off the fog lights and depending on what kit u get( i have revhard) u may need to lower the intercooler a little

I 2nd that, im looking to go with a Greddy Kit and Johnny Racer FMIC.

 

my fogs went bye bye , i think the piping takes priority over lights.

 

Have to cut the lower bracket on the fogs... The driver fog housing will push out a little bit.

 

It depends on what intercooler you're using. Even though I have a Greddy intercooler, I had to cut an excessive amount with the Dremel, and drill another hole higher up in the bracket and add another bolt and nut for support. If your piping is like the silver hatch above, it won't work.

 

Thanx for the pics guys. Im getting the Greddy kit for the d16, and using a Johnny Racer FMIC. Not sure on 5 or 6 tho. What you guys think.
