99-00 Civic - Intercooler/Piping/Fog lights - picture request
I plan to boost my h22a Civic EK hatchback.
it has the 99-00 front end with the OEM Foglights.
I mainly just want to know if I will be able to keep my Fog lights even with the FMIC and Piping without any major customization/fabrication.
Pictures would help.
On the back side of the fog lights, there is a big bracket holding the fog lights in place, I want to know if I will need a certain sized Intercooler and/or custom bent Intercooler piping to be able to keep the Fog lights.
I have seen some people that have had the 1999-2000 civics with FMIC and OEM foglights, I just want to know if they did anything to make it work, or if they had pictures to show what they did.
Thanks

Depending on the intercooler you might have to cut the bottom bracket. Thats what i did for a customer car. The intercooler pipping (2.25) was perfect size to act as a mount for the fogs. Sadly i dont have any pics though.

yea i think it depends on how big ur intercooler is because if yours is the big ones then the end-tanks almost touch the mounting of the foglights.. and it depends where you route ur piping..im shure there is a way to go around the foglight mounts..what i did to mine was i had to buy a smaller intercooler and then do some custom piping..good luck

thanks.. i'm just wondering what kind of sizes ya'll used... and if you guys tried flippping the intercooler to where the intercooler piping was towards the bottom or top of the intercooler..
i bought a kit, and the intercooler that comes with it is 30x8x2.5

I had to hack the F out of my fog light bracket and angle the intercooler pipes downward then up, but its in there. Just cut off the bottom of the bracket mainly. It really hard to say since everyones set up is different. You wont really know till you actually get in there and see what your application calls for, but all similar in most ways.
