It usually hovers around 40 like its supposed to then, the other night it started flying around when I was just cruising at 2500rpm. it did it somemore so I quite driving it, today it sits at 60 and doesnt move at all until the cars off...
anyone else run into this problem?

 

What kind of gauge? Elec/Mech/Autometer/Greddy/etc?

they are all Autometers.
I took it to the guy who installed it and he says its pumping right, just that the gauge isnt working properly.
hmmm? what would cause a guage to go haywire?
