Default 93 civic vx wiring

I was wondering if the civic vx wiring harness with the vtec will work
or do i need to change the harness

The VX harness can be used for nearly any swap, especially for a DOHC VTEC B series motor. You will need to rewire for a 4 wire O2 setup, other than that it's as good as any other VTEC engine harness.

will the ecu work i will only be using it for a short time i plan on going with a hondata or an aem

get a p28 or even cheaper, a pr4.

Not following here.... a PR4 is an OBD0/OBD1 Integra nonVTEC B18A1 ECU. The VX ECU is made to run basically only the D15Z1 VX motor. Of course the ECU can be chipped like a P28 to DOHC VTEC specs though.

since he stated his intention was only to run on the ecu for a short while and then go with AEM EMS, i said the obd1 pr4 was an option only because it will run the car fine if he doesnt go nuts with it and they are pretty cheap.
