Default keep the kit or not?

Ok I have a 94 hatchback with a 98 b18c1 in it. I have plenty of add ons...my head is built, stage 3 clutch, flywheel, vtec controller, chipped, you know the good stuff. I need to know if you all think I shold keep the zex nitrous kit I recently purchased or if I should sell it. If you all think I should sell it what should I put on instead?

I'm not even going to vote. It's nice to have it for ocasional get aways, but it's really more about how well do you like your motor and how deep your pockets are. I would much rather slap a turbo on (I know more $) but it would make me feel safer then runnig nitrous.

Depends if it's your daily driver. If you need it to be reliable, then no. Even so, I'm not a nitrous fan. Just seems like there's too much that could go wrong with it...

WTF, is this a nitrous hatin' thread? I'm wondering how many of you guys have even ran nitrous?!?

In terms of cost, when it comes down to it nitrous is definately BIGGEST BANG FOR THE BUCK. That is if you stick with the kits... It gets more expensive as you start going into direct ports, etc...

In terms of reliability, nitrous is just as reliable as turbo. It just depends on how good the tuning is, and NO nitrous doesnt make your engine go bad any faster than turbo does. The only difference between the two is the fact that nitrous is not always on and that you have to refill the bottle. Also, note that for turbo there is ALOT more maintenance and cost quite a bit more to buy and upkeep.

In terms of power, both will give you kick *** numbers, but expect more TORQUE from nitrous.

I say keep the kit if you dont have deep pockets or if you want the SNEEKY approach to racing.

Only thing I would do differently is to sell the vtec controller, get uberdata or hondata, build up the block, and shoot some more nitrous... That sucker would feel like a roller coaster...

Why are you asking us what YOU should do to your car?

IMHO i wouldn't have nitrous in any of my cars.

You need to decide..

If someone made a poll on asking if they should talk you into jumping off a bridge and the poll votes were all ''yes you should jump''
Would you do it?

Enough said

So you're telling me that you've never asked anyone what they think would look good or make a car faster huh? I asked b/c I wanted others opinion on the matter. You don't like my question then don't reply to it. Oh yeah and by the way yes I've jumped off a bridge into a lake when other people wanted me too...adrenalin rush baby
