Default way too much fuel after finishing turbo

after i tried to start my car for the first time (95 ls teg) since i put the turbo on it has been getting way too much fuel. First i tried dsm 450, then rc 440, then stock injectors. I have the b&m fpr, and turned that as low as it would go (about 20-25 psi at idle), and the only way my car will run is if i hold down the gas, and it barley stays alive then.

O, and i have a mapped ecu from hondata (just a basemap) but the tuner said he didn't mess around with the idle too much. I don't hear any misfiring or ping. but there is black smoke coming from my downpipe.

Any help would be great

Thanks
Dawson

if you're only getting 25 psi at idle, how can you say you're getting too much fuel?

check your plugs

checked plugs, even put new ones in, timing and all that is fine. I have too much fuel, that is the problem. I know this becuase the more i raise the fuel pressure the harder it is to turn over by itself (if it does). When you do get a basemap from hondata do they usually mess with idle?

i have 450dsm injectors on my crx. i have the fuel trimmed (afc) to -40 idle. your base map is too rich. lean it out and raise the fpr and put the 450s back in

How does it run with the stock injectors vs the 450's?

Are you sure your basemap is set for 450's?

get a real ems (and tune it), and your problems will be solved.

P.S put the fuel pressure back to 40.

ya, it ran way better with my stocks compared to the 440 and 450's, but still pretty shitty especially when i went on the gas. The base map is for 450's.
I wish i had the money to do that 94gsr. when the fuel pressure is at 40 it doesn't start.

The only thing i can think of is, the base map. That has to be it right?
Rc doesn't require a resistor box correct?

Thanks guys

Are you running resistors inline with the DSM 450's?

The RC's should work without resistors as long as they are saturated injectors. The DSMs require resistors.

alright, new question. I need to get a ecu to drive up there on stock injectors. Just wondering if i could use any other ecu's besides the p75. I have a 95 ls manual. Also, could i just buy one of those 15 dollar spoon chips and pop that in instead of buying a whole ecu?

No, a $15.00 Spoon chip will not solve anything for you.

No, there probably isn't another stock ECU that will have fuel maps even close to the LS ecu.

You have a mapped Hondata ECU? Please explain what you mean. I had a 'chipped' Hondata ecu...but all that means is that it is an ecu that is ready to accept EPROM for the Hondata S200b.

Unless you have something to control those 440cc injectors, it's going to dump so much fuel into your engine, sooner or later it will become a hazard and start washing things out.

You need to get some kind of engine management, whether it be the AFC "hack" or a GReddy e-manage, Hondata, AEM EMS, etc.

ok, i have a hondata S200 chipped with a basemap for 450s

why wouldn't the spoon chip work. I would just put the stock injectors back in and disconnect charge pipe for the drive up to the dyno.
